An easy to apply live tropical moss mixture/spread that under well lit, humid conditions will spread through out the vivarium in a few months.

The Green Oasis tropical spread
has a variety of live tropical mosses and liverworts.
May also sprout a variety of ferns.


$25 For a small deli cup portion.


Green Oasis Moss Spread

To use the tropical moss spread in your vivarium.
First remove the top live green layer of mosses and liverworts.
If the bottom section is a little dry add some clean water to moisten.
Then place portions of the bottom section around in your vivarium in the nooks and crannies in the background or on wood items that are in the vivarium.

Then place portions of the top live green layer on top of some of the areas that you've placed the bottom section on.

keep well hydrated and within a few months it will start to spread and new areas will begin to sprout from the spores.

South American Tree fern fiber,peat moss,sphagnum moss,charcoal,orchid bark,clay,leaves(willow oak,live oak,southern magnolia.

How to use: Soak substrate in water then squeeze out the excess water out, place in vivarium.

Indian Almond Leaves (Terminalia Catappa)

Indian Almond Leaves are used to make tadpole tea.
The leaves and the tannin's released are beneficial to tadpoles and has many anti-fungal and  antibacterial properties.
To make the Tadpole Tea concentrate  boil 3 to 5 leaves in a 4 liters of water.
After it has cooled,add some of the Tadpole Tea concentrate to water until water it is slightly yellow.
Then use for tadpoles.
Or you can easily break pieces of the leaves and add to the containers housing the tadpoles.

Can also be used as leaf litter with other leaves for that jungle look.
